GiroTap is a technology platform that enables merchants to accept inline bank payments across Europe. The service is provided by CONFIG MONEY LIMITED, which operates the platform layer, the merchant dashboard and the consumer-facing checkout experience.

CONFIG MONEY LIMITED is not itself a payment institution, credit institution or electronic money institution, and does not hold client funds. The regulated elements of the payment flow are delivered by licensed third-party partners:

• SEPA Direct Debit initiation, collection and settlement are provided by Paynovate, a licensed electronic money institution supervised under EU law.
• PSD2 open banking services, including account information and bank-account verification, are provided by Lunchflow and GoCardless, each acting as authorised providers under PSD2.

Merchants enter into a direct contractual and regulatory relationship with the relevant licensed partner for the regulated portion of the service. GiroTap coordinates onboarding, routing and orchestration between the merchant, the consumer and these partners, but does not replace the obligations or protections provided by the underlying regulated institutions.
